Frosty's Bar Celebrates 60 Years Of Island Traditions

About 1 year(s) ago by Chas Reed

PUT-IN-BAY, OH - Located in the heart of downtown Put-in-Bay, Frosty's has been an island tradition for 60 years.

Cold beer served in the signature frosty beer mug, peanut shells crunching underfoot, tasty pizza baked fresh to order, and classic rock tunes from the jukebox are all part of what makes Frosty's a favorite.

Native islanders, boaters, and day-trippers alike flock to Frosty's for the beautiful view of DeRivera Park and the Put-in-Bay harbor.

Visitors also can't resist a quick game of pool. Competitive types can also try their hands at the Big Bug Hunter Classic or Safari video games located in the bar area.

Sports nuts will never miss a game on one of the new 6 ft. and 10 ft. screens plus the 3 plasma screen televisions. The Kentucky Derby in the spring, playoff baseball in the fall, and all the Cavs, Browns and Ohio State action you can imagine is available throughout the season.

"Stop by during the game for special sports promotions and limited availability Frosty's sports merchandise. Don't forget to check out Frosty's on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights when DJ Mike spins all your favorite songs with his state-of-the-art sound system," says Ryan and Kim Stoiber, owners of Frosty Bar & Big Man's Burrito Stand.
